Jiancong Wang was a doctoral student at PICSL whose work covered deep learning and image analysis across many applications. Jiancong contributed to choroid segmentation in retinal OCT (2017), the ex vivo hippocampus atlas (PNAS, 2018), diffeomorphic medial modeling (IPMI 2019), AI systems for differential diagnosis on brain MRI (Radiology and Radiology: Artificial Intelligence, 2020), placenta segmentation from 3D ultrasound (2020, 2022), DeepAtrophy (2021), and deep label fusion for medical image segmentation (Medical Image Analysis, 2023).
